BOARD PLAN REFUND SCHEDULE
Students on the A La Carte board plan will receive a refund that is based on actual meal plan point usage, so long as the semester has not yet concluded. Any point dollars that are unspent after the semester’s conclusion are non-refundable. For example, if you are released from your housing contract mid semester and have 375 points remaining, you will receive a board refund of $375. However, if you are released from your housing contract in January for the spring semester only, you will not receive a refund for your fall semester’s unspent points.
Students on the Carte Blanche plan will be refunded at a weekly rate for each week not in residence.
For example, if you are released from your housing contract with 3 weeks remaining in the fall semester and have 75 points remaining, you will receive a refund for the cost of the remaining weeks and your unspent points. However, if you are released from your housing contract in January for the spring semester only, you will not receive a refund for your fall semester’s unspent points.
If a student does not meet the criteria for a contract release, they will be held financially responsible for all housing and dining charges for the entire academic year. Checking out of your room, commuting, or moving to an off-campus residence does not qualify as being released from the housing contract, and does not make you eligible for a housing or board refund.
Please see the Understanding Your Bill page for information on any additional charges that may apply.
