What is Drop & Go?
Drop & Go is not your official move-in date. Instead, it’s a chance to bring your belongings to campus early, get settled in your room, and go back home until your official move-in date. Think of it as “dropping off your stuff and going home.” That’s why we call it Drop & Go!
How Drop & Go Works
- Schedule Your 3-Hour Appointment
- When: Monday, July 28 – Wednesday, August 20
- Drop Off Your Belongings
- When: Friday, August 15 – Wednesday, August 20
- What you get: 3 hours to pick up your room key, move your belongings into your room, and head back home
- Important: You cannot stay on campus after your appointment – you must return home.
- Come Back for Your Official Move-In
- New students (freshmen, transfers, international): Return Thursday, August 21 to start Welcome Week
- Returning students: Return Sunday, August 24
Why do we use Drop & Go?
- It spreads out the moving process – Avoid the stress of doing everything in one day.
- Become familiar with your room – You get to see your space and plan how to arrange everything!
- Lighter move-in day – Your official move-in will be quicker since your stuff is already there!
- Safer and faster – Fewer people moving at once means less crowding, and more time for you to enjoy the exciting parts!
