Who is eligible for winter housing?
All residents are eligible to apply for winter housing. However, only students with a spring assignment are guaranteed a space for the winter as students will be residing in their designated room for the spring.
What is the cost of winter housing?
Students will be charged a promotional rate of $226.60 for their room. No meal plan will be available for the winter session but on campus dining locations will be open from 7:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday.
When is the application deadline for winter housing?
Applications need to be submitted through MyHousing by midnight on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in order for the student to move in on Sunday, January 6, 2019. However, applications will continue to be accepted after Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
Where do students live for the winter?
For the winter session students will be living in their spring housing assignment.
Is there a meal plan associated with winter housing?
There will not be a meal plan associated with winter housing. However, food will be available for purchase with cash, credit or Get It points from the below listed locations Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:00pm:
- OBC Grill
- Pizza, Pasta & Co.
What if I need to cancel my winter housing application?
Please contact Residential Education and Housing immediately at email@example.com to cancel your winter housing assignment. If possible all cancellations should be submitted by noon on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
What if I am an athlete or international student who needs to live on campus over winter break?
You will not need to apply for winter housing as Athletics or the Center of Global Engagement will advise our office of who needs to live on campus over winter break.
